Just in is the GEC 38 English Whittler in bloodwood. Might be blasphemy to say ... coming from someone who loves the Case Seahorse Whittler ... but this knife is everything that the seahorse should be!!!

At this point David, probably nowhere besides the secondary market (for outrageously inflated prices!) Got this one at Collector Knives (via Mike's early reserve program). I was fortunate enough to catch his notification when these were added and got to his site quick enough to snag a reservation.
Pretty close to the seahorse, J.J.. By my measurements, it is just a hair shorter with a closed length of 3 3/4 vs 3 7/8 for the seahorse. Blades are about the same length as well. Overall fit and finish is great ... even grind on the blade edges ... no burrs. I was fortunate enough to get on a pre-order for this one. As far as I can tell, the ones not allocated to pre-orders were snapped up very quickly and I see them now going for 2 - 2+ what I paid. Believe they are producing the Northfield version now, which will have jigged bone covers.
What's the length on this beauty, Dennis?
