GEC Northfield # 77, Yankee Barlow, arrived yesterday. It’s a Collector Knives special factory order made with olive wood from trimmings of olive trees on Mount Olivet (Mount of Olives). The olive wood is a little darker than I expected, but very nice, none the less.

Dennis, I knew I was blessed to finally get on list also but I sorta went into a panic when forced to choose between stag & this one. I'd been searching for years to find a stag model and figured this was only shot I'd get. lol I've adored seeing older versions for years-still hope to find a few with clip/sheep/wharnie main, someday. Pictures never completely do justice to these, imho anyway. :)

Absolutely wonderful example! And no sir, that isn't too dark at all. Loved that Bill finally worked these in for Mike/CK.

Very nice! Doesn't get any better than Mount of Olives wood. I don't think that is dark at all.
