It's funny what happens when I got to take a picture of one of my knives. Sometimes, I get so "enthralled" with a particular feature of a new knife, that I overlook other things. How does this relate to the knife shown in the photo?

I have a penchant for Canal Street Cutlery's "serpentine stockman" design. One of the editions on my "wish list" has Abalone handle scales. I've wanted this for quite some time, but only recently obtained one. Well, long story short...I was so mesmerized by the knife's handle scales that overlooked that the blade was in need of some polishing! Before posting the photo...I thought about reshooting the image after a good cleaning of the main blade, but then I thought, "Leave it in and provide everybody with a mildly amusing story."
