The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I've always had a simple fondness for the serpentine slip joint knife pattern. This is probably due to the fact that my very first pocket knife (which I still have) was/is one!
Lately, I've been enjoying Great Eastern Cutlery's take on this pattern. A little while ago, I picked one up with Ebony wood handle scales. What a beautiful knife! Frankly, it's not very "flashy", so it's beauty is discovered when you really study it. So...through this experience, I decided to pick up another version! The one shown in this photo has "Burnt Chocolate Moose" handle scales. Frankly, I took this picture at the end of a long day...so it doesn't really do the knife a lot of justice. However, you can see enough of the handle to begin to appreciate how nice GEC's creative handle scale choice turned out!
