While the oldest knife in my collection is a small whittler, I have to admit that the VAST majority of knives that I've had in my life have not been whittlers. Don't necessarily know why. As of late, I've found myself being drawn...more and more...to the "Executive Whittler" pattern from Great Eastern Cutlery. Mostly, this pump was primed by Gary Norton/Northwest Knife Company. He showed my a Burnt Stag Exec Whittler...and, of course, I just "had" to have it. Got that jem in my mits and the rest is history. Since then, I've nabbed one in 2nd Cut Burnt Stag...and now one with Cocobolo handle scales (the one shown in this photo). It's interesting that what is likely the slimmest knife platform that I collect shows handle scale material so well...
