The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I've only seen these available through Baryonyx Knife Company. Baryonyx's owner, Ben Bouchard, is a great guy, very knowledgeable, informative, helpful. Baryonyx is a knife & tool company worth supporting, & I encourage everyone to do just that! And by the way, this Rinaldi is incredible for debarking, chopping, and splitting kindling. It makes a great draw knife, too. Next time I need to quarter a chicken, I'll let you know how it performs!

That makes it pretty well rounded in uses for me. Since the downsizing everything has to do extra duties
Well, I haven't had to quarter any chickens since I posted this. Oooh, but maybe the Thanksgiving turkey...? ;)
Still, I really like this knife. It's like a smaller, more elegant version of the Cold Steel Slant Tip Machete. While the Falci is no slouch, I'd still take the Cold Steel Slant Tip in a zombie apocalypse (especially since the Slant Tip is also made in a version that's 21" long, with a two-handed handle -- they call it the All Terrain Chopper -- about half the price of the Falci too, but now discontinued). The Falci just has a bit more of a country feel to it, & I don't have any complaints about it at all.
Sometimes you just have to go with what appeals to you.
OK I may be late to the table but i have to know how the chicken went
