The Tang Stamp "HA" was rarely used. It stands for "High Art". It was used to avoid being accused of pornography when a sexy photo was put in a knife handle. Years ago I bought just the knife, then I learned about the box. It's the only Case box I know of that is fancy like this and has a window to view the knife, so I got another one that had the box. Years later, I was talking with someone at SMKW and they asked if I had seen the original inserts for the knife. I hadn't. It turns out that Case originally was going to put a photo of a naked woman in the knife and changed their mind and went with a photo of a woman in a bathing suit. So I bought the original inserts (which came with a COA). It was made only in 1979 (a one dot). I made a display, but I didn't have the skill or materials to do it correctly. I sent it out to be done. I Showed the obverse side (AG Russell's favorite word) so that the "HA" stamp was visible. I thought that was more interesting.
