Hey thanks for the info on the design of this one.  Yes, I see many great reviews on this design but I dont think I had heard how it came about

You got an excellent deal on that one!  The TOPS guys tend to rave over this li'l bad boy.  One of the guys that designed this knife is Joe Flowers.  He has a pretty significant Youtube presence, & he's done a lot of outdoors writing, including for Backpacker Magazine & Tactical Knives Magazine.  He taught outdoors skills to kids for years (& likely to adults too).  He's a trained entomologist too.  He also has done a lot of designs for Condor Tool & Knife as well as at least 2 other knives for TOPS.  I believe there are two other guys that were involved in the design of this knife as well, but I'll let you do the research on them.  A lot of thought, experience, & likely experimentation went into that knife!
