That's a beauty.  I have my dad's  36, from WWII, and wouldn't sell it for a million bucks.

MAN, this looks SO MUCH LIKE my grandpa's old PAL!  Including that tarnished gray aluminum pommel, & the wide, long fuller.  No doubt made by the same factory.  Just really cool to see, after having lost that old knife...
