Thank you Ron! There are some still out there. They show up on ebay occasionally even. Arvin's were well built radios indeed. Thanks for the kind words on the knife too!

That stag looks amazing! As does every other detail on that gorgeous knife - I especially love that shield! 

Joining the chorus, that's a really cool picture! Over the years I've seen a few of those old Arvin radios in the fugly colors you've mentioned, Perry. The faded yellow comes to mind immediately. I always took note when seeing one because Arvin was my father's name. I have never seen one chromed like that. Sweet!

Thank you Charlie and Sue! I've had the Arvin for a long time. Several years ago a friend of mine chromed it for me. I think these radios came mainly in painted metals. Blue, ugly greenish shades and ugly yellow,,,lol.
