Steve, you got a winner, there!!-Robert Klaas (sometimes spelled Klass) was founded in 1834 and has been in business for 175 years-  Associated with Kissing Crane and Hen & Rooster- Later ones associated with China production- but this predates this- China made ones have" since 1834" on the tang-This is early, since the cranes are not yet "kissing" - I will let you know more as I find it -- Great score, my friend !!
