My favorite Schrade teardrop jack knife from Schrade Cut. Co. Walden NY. It has peachseed jigged bone handles and swedged sheepsfoot main blade with long pull. Snaps like new.

Jim, Sure you are welcome to use this photo. Do I need to do anything special to allow use of pic? Tang stamp on main blade is in three lines: Schrade; Cut. Co.: Walden, N.Y.. Pen blade has same tang stamp in three lines.

Hey Tom! Could you give me permission to take this photo over to the Schrade group on BF to ask there for more info?

I'd wager that a knife with a swiveling guard is not the same as this one.

PS -- and HOW do the tang stamps read on this beauty?

Thanks Jim,

I can't find it in a book. However, in The Official Price Guide to Collector Pocket Knives, 2nd edition, by James F. Parker & Bruce Voyles they show a similar knife noted as a 2063 1/2 Jack knife. The knife in the book has a propeller shaped shield where my knife has none and no signs that there was ever a shield that is now missing. So if anyone reading this has any more info please let us know. Thanks! I really like the knife. The peachseed jigging feels great in your hand and it is very well built. Only wish that the blades weren't as scuffed up but I wouldn't hessitate to carry it.

VERY nice! What's the pattern number? I have to put this on my list of non-riggers that I MUST HAVE! ;-)
