i am never buying a cold steel product agin!the handles on my bowie axe are custom micarta done by myself because the first two throws with it broke the factory handles completly!he factory handels were inadeqate for a throwing knife frum day 1 they were hollow for 1 and the fasteners jus fell apart when the handels broke in half!dont git me wrong i luv my bowie axe !its the ultimate camp knike spliting wood and stil holding a decent edge ,it also throws as good as advertisedbut heres the deal!i ownd a sunshine knfe works bowie axe for 12 or 13 years and the handels never even losen up through all the years of serious throwing and missing!it was stollen so i had to rplace it and saw the cold steel as a good alternative but it is by no means the same quality as the original!it is a cheap copy sold at a not so cheap price!not only this but recently a close friend of mine purchsed one of the spike series tanto neck knives,within one week it had the edge rolled in 3 spots frum cuting cardboard!this is not aceptable !and now they giving him a buch of flack in his atempt to either replace the knife [which is obviously defective] or refund his money!does this sound like a reputable company?not to me !
