How's this cold steel kukri machete holding up after all this time?  Mine's only a year or two old with very little use -- I keep telling myself I'll sharpen it up but never seem to get to it.  

Anyway, I've seen photos online of this machete failing just behind the start of the handle (where it was squared off to fit into the handle, no doubt causing some serious stress risers at a point of high shock).  Just hoping your machetes have held up better than that.

Did you throw that into the tree?This is the only machete that I can say throws well.It is like a tomahawk when throwing.This blade is such a work horse!I have used the hell outta mine.
