Sid Birt Nashville, IN Circa 1970
This is a wonderful 'Sid Birt' that I have owned for many years. Sid was a weapons instructor for the U.S. Army from the late 1950's. The Damascus pattern is one of tiny crystal snow flakes set in waves and looking a bit like 'Wootz'.

I just love how he did the stag on this. How wonderful to leave it just rough in those small areas for texture and grip. I have to admit, I like the squirrel too :)
