No I'm not mistaken. This isn't a Stockman knife. For some reason Boy Scout Whittler has the blades lade out in Stockman fashion. It has been that way for a long, long, time. The old Camillus Boy Scout Whittler was the same way and even when they weren't making for th eBoy Scouts, Camillus called this knife a Whittler. It has a Large clip and coping blade up top and small clip down load. The knife was priced the same as the Chinese made Taylor BSA Whittler (same pattern). The Taylor one had nice wood handles and highly polished blades. This one has cheap, soft plastic handles that are poorly pinned on. (I have to snap one back in place a couple times now.) Fit and finish is over all marginal. I should've bought the Taylor made import and will probably go bakc for it. Bear needs to do something with the QC on this knife. The whittler has been around for a long time and is an Official Boy Scout Knife.
