Kees, did the wood scales on yours have a funky, chemical smell?  Mine did, on both the Trask & the Swale.  I sent the Trask back to Benchmade it was so bad, & they couldn't identify what exactly it was.  They offered to replace it but it was a gift from my wife so I declined.  Benchmade was a great company to deal with, & the blade on that Trask especially is quite incredible.

Kees, it looks like quite a handful!

glad i am the owner of an original lone wolf trask !

this is a super well-balanced knife and its a joy to use....  the handle as well as the blade are superior design and the materials used are just great !

some important gerber-people formed the lone wolf company back in 2001 but it only lasted until 2010 ( when benchmade took it over )

the benchmades are ok but not the same as original lone wolfs ! ( like the "defender" or the  "us-45" !! )

pity the trask is now also discontinued .....  great knife !!
