I made this knife from an old butcher knife to which I added a buffalo horn spacer and a nickel-silver guard. I also made the sheath and embedded a silver dragonfly charm in a reconstituted abalone oval set in a silver oval. This knife was inspired by the Japanese Haiku my wife and I chose for my son's memorial service invitations, which says: "In what windy land wanders now my little dragonfly hunter."
