Hi, Dale. You're right on! It says J. McCLORY, Sheffield, on it. No thistle that I could find, but this knife required a lot of rust removal, so the thistle may have been so rusted that it came off with the other rust. Thanks for the info!

A possible John McClory & Sons. Is there a picture of a thistle stamped anywhere ???

Under the line of the stamp ... does that read " J. McCLORY " ???

If so ... info I find ~ John McClory and Sons, manufacturer, Sheffield England, c. 1870 ~??.
