DLKG - I do not get the Apocobox and have wondered the same thing as you. A friend sent me the gift. I can't really afford it either. Yes, it is a Sven saw, but I have not tried it out yet. I hope to give it a try this week, while I am off work. I'll let you know, once i try it.

Jeremy, when did you start receiving the Apocabox? Has it been a good value, or is it more just a fun thing, with the mystery of receiving something new every month? I can see the appeal of these subscriptions, just haven't given it a go yet (& likely can't anytime soon, for financial reasons)... But I am definitely interested in hearing your thoughts, as another brother of bushcraft (knives)... And have you tried out the Sven Saw yet (assuming that's what that is)?

looks like more for the pack but less weight?
