Typo: HRC, of course. Thanks... This grip allows for a short handle to cradle the hand securely between "bolsters": Wilkinson-Latham used it in Major Shakespeare (vest) Dirk...

Not familiar with the "S" scale for Rockwell hardness ..or.. is that a typo ???
The "S" is generally used to indicate that a steel indenter ball was used in the testing process & usually follows the "scale identifier".

Or .. I'm missing something. Which .. could easily be the case. Been out of the industry for awhile.
