The consistently FANTASTIC quality of the Great Eastern Cutlery/Northfield Cutlery knives is something to be relished.
The Northfield Harness Jack knife shown in this photo is a PERFECT example. The overall fit and finish is breath-taking.
Personally, I really like the mid-size of the Harness Jack. Also, the blade shapes are well-suited to typical EDC tasks.
On this particular knife, the fit and finish is as good as anything I've ever seen. I suspect that GEC's melding of handwork and great machining is what produces this outcome.
One interesting feature on this knife that I find particularly appealing is the nail-dish in the handle. Look closely and you'll see it. I've got thumbsteaks for fingers...and this helps me get the blade open just a bit easier.
In case you are curious, the color on the bone handle scales is called "Red Hangman's Bone". As beautiful as this knife is...that name is just a bit on the creepy side. Strange for GEC to pick this name, but...
