I bought this knife for my sons 6th birthday, which he had on Monday. Round tipped blade, so he will not stab himself. Stainless steel, classic Opinel safety ring and wooden handle- Varnished with a lion on it. This is his second real knife. His collection is starting early :)

Its true, getting them started early is nice, but I wonder if he will catch the collecting bug like all of us here at iKC? Only time will tell. The fact is, that boys tend to look for something to collect at an early age.. Hope he will not want me to go out and buy him Loveless knives!
