Hi Steve!
Did you ever find the one you were looking for?
I seems a lot these were made at one time, wondering when(60-70s?)..mine gets a lot of use. x)
I have that same Sheffield Pipe knife
Hi Steve. Maybe, except I've never seen one with a tamper. Here are a couple of older ones I was looking at:

Glad you guys like 'em! These ones were pretty easy finds too on that big ol' auction site, Chuck. The one on the top is made in Italy, the one on the right in England in the 50's I think, and the dark one is probably made in China. I want a nice old American-made one, just hard to find.
Very Nice! Not alot of Pipe smokers anymore, used to see alot more!
I just read about these knives. I've yet to see one but the ones you show here are very nice examples. Does anyone still make them? I'd love to pick up a couple for my collection.
