The light scratches or whatever they shall be called is kind of unique to the high polished Northfields.  It must have to do with the old machinery and tools they use to finish them. To me it's character for the knife.

There really are not any scratches Stephen.  I should have had Donnie wipe it down good before I took the pic but I was trying to get shots between storm bands.  I will take another one.  I think those are the imprints in the oil fro my velvet case I use in my pocketbook to prevent scratches LOL

very cool looking  jan great handles. is it new i was wondering because of the scrathes and spot on right blade but it is a test run and i don't know how they come....could you tell me it is a great looking knife.....
