This is one of those knives you can find on Amazon for under $25 -- maybe even under $20, I can't quite remember. After dealing with a lot of unemployment this year, my focus turned to these low-budget knives. The quality likely varies among budget Amazon knives, but I would really like to put some of these knives through their paces in order to get a sense of which "brands" (I use that term loosely here) are better than others, because there must be better & worse brands. And, because these knives are most often made in China, the low price isn't necessarily a direct reflection on their quality (the State can easily subsidize these knives, on top of low labor & material costs, so a higher quality knife is at least possible at a low price-point -- despite the potentially morally-dubious manufacturing practices)...
