"Smoky Mountain Knife Works The knife came like that. It appears to go back to 2010. It was a one-time Presidents' Day special. There are now similar designs, but the design you have is no longer produced."

I sent SMKW this message with pictures concerning this knife.

:"I have this Rough Rider Barlow. Can you tell me if it was produced this way by Rough Rider or if it was an aftermarket customization?"

This is the answer I got.

"Smoky Mountain Knife Works The knife came like that. It appears to go back to 2010. It was a one-time Presidents' Day special. There are now similar designs, but the design you have is no longer produced."

So it appears I have at least a somewhat special knife!

I don't know if it is part of a series.  It is the only one I have seen like it.  This one is a RR846PD.  There is a RR846 also.  It is the same knife except it doesn't have the presidents on it.

I may have paid a little much for this one.  It was a Buy It Now on eBay for $13 plus $2.99 shipping.  I watched it for a while but decided to go ahead and get it because I wanted it.
