The Sabre grind works very well here... Derrick did a splendid balancing job on this knife It is at the limit for a Bushcrafter (6" blade)but still fits comfortably in the jean's pocket, while dangling from the belt (nice leather sheath). It is my Favorite "Woody"(we have plenty of that here on Vancouver Island... cougar & black bear too). M2 turned out to be a surprisingly good steel, fine grained & tougher than D2, with a better edge retension (with finer grain it is actually easier to sharpen, & less "chippy" than D2... )
