SOG's original Aegis design is one of my favorite lightweight folding knife designs. I just like the ergonomics and the blade shape. It's a little large for general EDC purposes. Well, guess what? SOG has released a "Mini" version...shown in this photo! I'm extremely impressed! They have done w wonderful job of shrinking the successful Aegis down to a superb EDC size.

At some point, I'd really like to see SOG upgrade the blade steel on it's Aegis series from Aus8a to VG10, 154cm or, better still, S30V. It'd also be nice to see them do a sculpted G10 handled version.
