Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

The Nautical is not just a knife it's a precision instrument with many parts working together in synchronicity. A marlin-spike is especially useful in marine applications to untie knots but we were surprised to find out how many other uses they have. Use it as an awl, a scribe, for digging, prying, scraping, or ... you get the idea. What you might not see at first glance though is that the liners are crafted from super strong and lightweight titanium and mated to tough G10 handles. The big half serrated blade opens and closes as fast as you can say 'red on right return'.

Jan,

The total weight of this knife is 4.9 ounces. At a little more than a quarter of a pound, thanks to the G10 scales and the titanium liners, it IS relatively light while at the same time having a good-solid-feeling, confidence inspiring, heft to it. I especially like the marlin-spike because it comes to a very sharply pointed tip, which makes it particularly useful when working with paracord knots.

seems to me this is going to be one light Nautical.  That alone makes it different and more pocket friendly than most we see.  Whats the weight on it Ron?

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
