My first serious (read: expensive, aka over $50) knife purchase as a collector, the SOG Trident checked a lot of boxes for me. Unfortunately, there's a lot of side-to-side blade play -- it's pretty bad, especially considering all the knives at lower price points with solid lock-ups. I came to love it anyway -- it's light, fits my hands well, & it's incredibly sharp. It wasn't a bad first piece for a collection after all.
