thanks Rusty for your kind comments.  i am still in the process of discovering  this unique field of photography and the difficult challenge is to produce consistently good images.

While being reluctant to comment on this pic because of the advertising text contained, I noticed it was significantly different than your other pics and I keep coming back to look.  The shadows and highlights create a mood open to interpretation by one's own imagination.  The rough surfaces of the knife and seed pods being in focus contrasts with the smooth dimly perceived background.  It makes a viewer stop and think.
