Michelle, my advice is take the course and get your license as soon as possible.  I think you will enjoy deer hunting.  I don't know how good the deer hunting is in New Jersey.  We have it pretty good here in Alabama.    Between bow and gun, we have a three and a half month long deer season with a limit of two a day.  So I could legally kill about 210 deer every season.  Of course I don't know of anyone who kills nearly that many.  The most I have killed in one season is four.

niice little trapper! I like that.  I wish I could become deer hunter, I want learning. I know I don't have special licence.. Someday, I want take firearm safety course....
