I made this sub-hilt fighter from a pre-manufactured blade with pre-attached half guard and sub-hilt. I added about 1/2-inch of length to the full tang and made the handles from buffalo horn. I made the leather sheath from 1/8-inch thick tanned leather and dyed it black.
