'tis the one on the left w/ black linen micarta scales. Hand sanded everything to a 600 grit "satin" finish.

I so liked the first one .. got me another.

??? first one   ..or..   second one ???

I managed to get the second one functioning a carry-able in ~ 6 hrs .. spread over 2 days.

BUT .. that was with the hindsight of having done the first one.

First one ......  DAYS .. I messed up one of the scales right off the bat !!!

Finishing this kit out really only requires putting scales on it. That said .... a LOT can be gained by fine tuning everything.

Nice, Dale.  What's the build time on it?

After a yr + carry time .. I can honestly state .. VERY PLEASED w/ this kit.

Dis-assembled, cleaned, & re-assembled one last time  w/ loctite blue .. 'n gave it to my daughter when she was here last month.

I put a back spine in the second one .. of matching black linen micarta. Been in my pocket a few weeks now .. but .. not altogether finished. Seems like they never are :)
