The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
My BHK/RDB Designs knife finally made it. This is a knife designed by Randall Burns and made by Battle Horse Knives. It was named after Randall's father. Unfortunately, he passed away recently. Before he passed, John and Alicia were able to hand deliver a special Vaiden knife to Mr. Burns.

I like the shelter building idea. I have been wanting to build a shelter or two anyway, so this would be the perfect opportunity to try the knife out. I will definitely take lots of pics. Thank you for the compliment on the photo.
That makes sense... Regardless, when you get it out, have fun with it -- & take pictures, & tell us all about it! That knife looks like a shelter-builder (hint, hint)!
But I also wanted to compliment you on the photo above -- the more I see it in thumbnail version on the front page, the more I appreciate how much it just pops. That red wrapping paper & the cream carpet just work, they balance each other out -- perfect setting for an amazing camp knife!
Jan, I think this would make a great photo for the next calendar (December, of course)!
Merry Christmas Charles! Thanks!
DLKG - It was a special run made for Randall Burns (RDB). He had BHK make them. I really like this thing and can't wait to get to the woods with it. They have a lot of great knives (of which I have my share of). You won't be disappointed if you get one.
Thank you Michael.
Merry CHIRSTmas Jeremy! Very nice knife!
That's a cool profile, Jeremy! I've always loved leaf-shaped blades. Looks like it could be quite the chopper too!
Where'd you find this knife? I was looking for it on the BHK website, didn't find it -- but admittedly I was easily distracted & started shopping anyway (I'm currently considering the Feather Stick -- but finding myself being pulled toward the Attitude) -- but I digress.
Merry Christmas to you, indeed!
Nice Xmas Present.
WOW! That is an awesome Christmas present to yourself!
