About 10 yr old. Carbon blade, soft iron frame and oak wood scales, old pattern, still available from sheffield maker to this day.
This model was modified for use by S.O.E. agents during WW2 in france, no makers name was added to blade, a short curved blade was added to the "bale" end to be used as a tyre slasher, handle scales were made of checkered plastic, known as "bex" for extra grip.
