- I am 48 years old. I am a husband and father. I am a writer and a photographer. I write for various publications, and do photographic work for multiple companies. I do research and development work for multiple knife and gear companies, and knife design work for knife makers and knife manufacturers.

- I love hiking and camping with my family. I like to read. I love looking at nature photography from around the world. I enjoy teaching wilderness and survival skills.
