Favorite Kind of Knives: Vintage Case, some automatics.

About Me: I have maintained an interest in knives as tools and weapons from a young age. I routinely used carried and use pocket and fixed blade knives while in the military. I continue to carry knives daily for utility purposes and protection. Just like watches, I have a primary knife for different occasions and dress. I began collecting Case knives approximately 20 years ago. I have since expanded and contracted my focus of the years to custom tactical knives, custom automatics, and some production automatics and fixed glasses. I own several of the popular books on knife collecting and subscribe to several popular knife magazines. I also maintain membership on several knife focused websites.

Interests: Knife history and collecting and knives for utilitarian and defensive use

Other Hobbies: Firearms history and collecting, firearms shooting, military history, watch history and collecting.

I know this is not a gun site per se - but the interests cross many boundaries....such as the bayonets (those not so distant cousins of the tactical knife) that fit said collectible firearm.
