I got my first Seahorse to actually use. Figured that I'd need a spair...or 2, (and the story goes).

You'll have to come on back for some more okra. Still have the "Okra Strut" every fall.

I'll bet when you get your first Seahorse, you'll want another.

I get my Rough Riders through different folks.

The line is owned by Smoky Mountain Knife Works. Blue Ridge Knives (sister company with SMKW) is also a source if you're a dealer, (wholesale only).
E-bay always has a ton of Rough Riders there.

I have a friend that sells knives at the local flea market. Check your local flea markets. I like to physically check out mine before I buy, not just RRs but any that I can.
The best thing about Rough Riders is the cost. If you can get past the Chinese stigma, these are really good user knives, that are great as an EDC.

Thanks for the positive comments Swampfox, however that isn't a Bark Pearl Whittler. It's the RR Big Whittler, #302, that I had re-handled in Deer Stag.
I really like my Rough Riders, and next to my CASE Seahorse, I carry a Rough Rider around every day.

They are a well made, Chinese import, that are inexpensive enough to use and if you accidentally loose it, won't make you shed any tears.
Also if you want to try out a particular pattern, they let you try out something new, without breaking the bank.

Welcome!
