the sharpest knife we all own is the one that brought you to ikc,the friends, the talk, and the knowledge.who would have known.blessed were all blessed.i am for knowing you all!
it funny how no one reaches in there pocket for a knife anymore, pocket clips and neck knives changed all that.sorry, but i still like the feeling of getting a old stockman or a sodbuster and working with it.when i was a kid if some said anyone got a knife,id about break my arm getting it out of my pocket.
hope miss jan and hog,and all my ikc family has a great thanksgiving! use a bowie to carve your turkey.im sure ill be setting at the table with ikc, happy hollidays.from my family to yours.
IM thankful for getting into knives at a early age and able to pass this passion on to my kids, and to share this great hobby with them.greatful for all the great friends that share this addiction with me.knife people are a different breed, its not only the knife, its the friends and the adventure along the way! YEA its all good.

I approve this message!
I want to thank all the people that make it a point to a active member on iKC.I get on and want to see how my friends are doing. When your not on I worry, some of us are here everyday. What a bond that is....only we know what that is. iKC to me is like a neighbor. If I don't see it I miss it.
Again to all active members, your not members, your friends. When we are not buying knives this is what we do...sharing knives...talking knives...living knives. This is home!
my dad is a member of ikc, lots of friends here,i guess that makes them my friends to.they wish me happy birthday, and all the rest.makes my dad happy and thats good for me.ill soon be joining, then we can really talk.
i know we all live on the web,but lets shake it up abitt.i say send a card or a note to a ikc person your friends with! cyber is good but its interaction we like or we wouldnt be here.we will all never meet at a knife show, which would be great but i think human interaction is just as important.just a shout out in person.it would mean alot to me,as well as you.a note in the mail is as good as ups, almost.its a stamp.and make someone happy.if you dont want to post your address i under stand.but…Continue
my farm is a gathering place for all the kids around here.they ride horses, hunt, fish and all the things kids should do.plus i get free farm help.ive been acting like im in a bind and need to borrow there knife,if they dont have one they do before they leave this farm.its funny when they show up and say,ive got my knife! ask a kid who has a knife.they almost break there wrist getting them out.one of my small pleasures in life.
im all about knives,im on a mission to let our younger generation to know our love of knives.we spend our money, time, and happiness enjoying this obesssion.its a beautiful thing to have friends, common interest, and mans oldest tool.if we get one kid to love knives as much as we do,thats a job well done.some of the hardest times ive ever faced ive did it thu knives.been broke sold some, had money bought some.been depressed bought one.friend depressed gave one,its a knife thing.
we all have more knives than we need,i say lets give one to someone else, when we get a new knife we smile, give one and two people smile, two for one.cant beat that.lets not talk that were knife people lets show it.a rough rider is as good as a case, its the keeping the spirit alive.we will all be able to say we arnt just sayers were doers, were knife people!
We call ourselves a knife family. If we are then lets help our brothers and sisters in the Gulf. Our prayers are with you. If you can help in anyway don't be afraid to post. Not preaching, but it can happen to any of us, so let's show our support to our knife family and prove what we say. It might not be more than a shout out, but that means a lot. My prayers are with you. Stay sharp.
My dad always said beware the man with one gun, he knows it inside and out. I wonder if its the same with knife people?
I find my choices in knives change weekly. One week I'm all about you get what you pay for,the next week I make a new buy and say I could have got 4 of these for what I paid for that.
The knife world is changing and its tough to keep up. I guess that's what keeps us moving on.
If this happens to you let me know so I know I'm not out of focus.
I was waiting on UPS to deliver my order from SMKW and they were late. My kids beat them home and the four Marbles I had ordered is now just two. So much for being a Dad with two collector offspring. Hope they like them as much as I do. Got to place another order. Bring on tomorrow! I cant wait. Happy Easter everyone! I wonder what my kids are getting for easter? Bet it will be sharp looking.
Just bought my first knife off of eBay,a giraffe bone hunting knife from England. I'll let you know how this works out. I'm a little afraid, never bought any out of the states before. Might be a live and learn lesson.
I suffer from a sickness called knife collecting. I don't think there's a cure thank goodness, but the same sickness has helped me in stressful times.
A knife and a honing stone works great on stress, better than any pill.
Bought a beautiful red stag sharks tooth at a flea market, who ever owned it tried to sandpaper etching off the blade. Shame since this knife was never sharpened, but a great rescue none the less.
