Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

My newest switchblade is actually a letter opener.  I bought it because I don't have one and this letter opener is special.  The guy I bought it from has written an important book on switchblades...maybe the bible, and even he did not know this knife had been made until during the last year.  Why is it special ?

It is made of White Gold by by Flylock and caries the older type of inscription before Schrade bought the rights and called it Fly Lock, stamping the knives Challenge Cut Co.  My letter opener is stamped Flylock (one word) and is written rather than printed. This item may be 1920/30s it has very ornate designs on the white gold handles.

Hey Lee, it's good to see you back with us. I have been doing a lot in the Outdoors and not collecting, right now. The urge is getting to me, to get back. I wish, I knew more about your subject matter.
