Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This topic has been blogged and discussed before, but nothing seemed to click with me. Maybe a fresh blog would help. I seem to have knives all over the place. With no real order to them.

I like to be able to see and handle my knives at all times. But with some there and some over here and some other places, it doesn't seem to work.

Rolls, boxes, and different places for knives keep them scattered. For instance, my Remington year knife collection, sits in boxes on top of my safe, I hardly ever take them out to look at them, except when I oil them. Many knives are just like that. The roll seems to work but how do you display 3 rolls?

Maybe some ideas would help me and many others as well. As I suspect, several of our IKC members are in the same situation as I am.

Maybe this blog can serve to help us all, and be a future reference.

So, any ideas, what is working for you?

Most of my knives fit nicely in the Chest - the imports are fine in a roll. I left my TL-29's out in the shop and there are still some on top of the safe. I am very happy with this chest - it will make the knives more organized and accessible. This was a great answer to "All These Knives".

Thanks everyone for the help on this: esp Ivars and Jan. Here is my chest and its full of US made and some German made knives. I left the imports in a roll. Here is a few pics, the rest are on IKC media.

My chest finally came. Will start organizing and playing with my new toy. What fun on these cold winter days.

John McCain, I ordered the Chest yesterday. My coupons were invalid but the chest is on sale right now: an $80 Chest for $59 - even a better deal than the coupon.
