Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

As we get deeper into the year I want to start having some thoughts in place for the 2012 iKC knife.  I have 2 immediate questions

1) Fixed or Folder?

2) materials?

Let me know what ya'll think.  I would like to have some ideas in place around the time of the Blade Show (you know the manufactures can't get away from us there LOL)

I looked around the web to see the most common club knife made by manufacturers. My search found that the stockman pattern was by far the most common. I hope this is not useless info but it might be.

Guess it's not too early to start stashing some cash away, in the cookie jar.

JJ,

OMG, how could I forget the Geppatto??  My own personal favorite pattern.  Thank you for keeping my memory in focus.  So here is the revision

pocketknife (Canoe, Moose, Barlow, calf roper, geppatto and 1 james Ivy original)

natural material (stag or moose)

and less than $120

IKC shield (dressed up a bit)

Keep the ideas coming, remember these are our knives being designed

Okay, how about a Moose/Big Jack with a big clip as a main blade and a nicely swedged wharncliffe secondary?

Everyone is saying stag or Moose stag, neither one would bother me.

Don't forget the Geppetto in with the pocketknife catagory, Jan.

I thought that the shield on the  2010 knife looked good, but I liked the simplicity of the GE also.

LOL, James

Ron Dumeah keeps saying he wants a moose and the handle material to be moose.  I think this is the first time I have seen moose so clearly on a handle.  It certainly is beautiful

I think ya'll guessed that I'd like a moose but I also wouldn't mind a canoe or a barlow pattern. A serialized pocket knife with IKC sheild in natural material sounds great to me.
