Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This has been a great year for collecting knives and with the end coming soon I thought that maybe some of us might like to post a picture or two of knives acquired during the year. Lets see some of those knives great and small.

2011 was a good year for GEC.  Many new patterns were handsomely made, but the sunfish - Buffalo Horn and Whalers - are what I will remember.

Hog, that looks like my kind of fixed blade. Is it forged? I know it would be sitting on the top of my 2011 knives.

Wow, everyone, thats some great knives! James, that pearl looks very good, it's a little out of my price range. Remember everyone it does not have to be the most expensive knife of the year, just one you got this year that you like very much.

I will have to divide my new knives by fixed blades and folders. The largest fixed blade was made by Matt at ML Knives, hand forged 1095 carbon steel with desert iron wood handle. The smallest was made by James Ivy with raindrop damascus steel and Sanbar stag handle. The folders are both moose pattern knives by GEC. The largest is my EDC and the smallest is my new Bullwinkle moose for my little collection. Thanks, Santa!

Very nice guys, I've been in the woods, but now it's time for me to post some. This was a banner year for me so I'm not sure where to start. When my little helper gets home we'll get it on here.

J.J. I really like that Gepetto the more I see it. Nice case knifes Max. I especially like that toothpick. Rusty, that is an awesome gunstock. I like that shield also.

The text style shields are awesome!  This older Bulldog gunstock stockman is my favorite one this year.

Robert, of any that I got this year, my Geppetto Whittler is, by far, my favorite...

Here you go, Robert. This is a yellow delrin stockman made in the USA by Camillus. I'm not sure of what year it was produced, but I bought it and it never had been used. It is one of only two Camillus knives that I own. I bought this this last spring from Mike Politoski.
