I also posted this in the A.G. Russell group. But I though a couple of more people might get a kick out of this.
This past summer I went on a trip to Arkansas to visit with A.G. Russell and be able to be there for the Knife Event that he organises with his people.
When there I (offcourse) also visited his store. It's the biggest knife aimed store I've ever seen and I thought it might be nice if some more people got to see it. So I took some pictures
It's been a while by now, about half a year has passed since I was there. But I thought it might be nice for some people to see the actual facilities.
As you arrive at the airport (XNA airport Bentonville) one of the first things that greet you is this:
(if this picture doesn't work....it's an A.G. Russell Ad sign at the airport)
From the road it looks a little bit like this, I don't have a shot from the freeway. But it's on the other side of where the picture is taken from.
As you approach the facility you start to realise that it's quite big, with the store all the way to the left and all the way to the right the Workshop where the current Resident Knifemaker works from.
From the freeway, a couple of advertisements are visible. At the time they were for the upcoming knife event:
We come to the front of the store
And enter through the doors to find this view (it was a quiet day)
That's right....almost everything you see....is wall to wall knives.
So I took some pictures of the inventory they had in the store
Like some of the custom scrimshawed blades they carry:
A couple of Doziers (and I think some Randalls on the bottom shelf)
Some of A.G.'s stunning laminated shopmade drop point hunters:
A little Leatherman and Gerber
And offcourse a LOT of A.G's own designed knives: (with some Buck's on the bottom shelf)
(I did say a lot (I was in knife heaven))
Benchmade/HD/Leatherman/Gerber
Spyderco and I think the larger SOG fixed blades:
Schatt and Morgan
Queen
William Henry
Couple of CRKT's
One of the store guys (Cory) posing amidst some KaBar's, Kershaws and SOGs.
A little bit of SOGginess
And what the whole wall looks like
I hope you've enjoyed my little show. I just thought it might be cool to see for those people who've never made it out there.

Cool post! Great pics. I was going to post the SMKW's displays cases, from my last visit there but the camera battery died on number #327! Just kidding. Does A.G. still own the Catturaugus trademark? I have their last catalog last week, I don't remember seeing any Seki ,Japan Catts or was Queen producing them?
Yup, they have a LOT. And they'll gladly pull anything out of the display for you to fondle. (After all...that makes it harder to put something down and easier for them to sell you something.
I did not realize he had such an extensive inventory in his store. I really need to get out there. Usually when I am in AR I am visiting mom and never leave her area but I need t get out his way once.
Ok Ron maybe I need to give them another chance. they where probably having a bad day last time I was there. They do have a lot of cool knives. As of now there off of my S list. lol
Alexander,
Thank you for a stellar post! It gave me an opportunity to go to Mr. A.G. Russell's facility and see all of the knives that I drool over each month in his catalog actually on display. Wow! I had no idea it was that large. Thanks again for an amazing contribution!
