AKTI monthly auction Hibben III Fighter Bowie Fixed Blade knife,

January Auction

Support the American Knife and Tool Institute and bid on a Gil Hibben III Fighter knife from United Cutlery!

Proceeds from the AKTI monthly auction support the organization’s legislative efforts to keep knives in American lives!

The January auction features a Hibben III Fighter Bowie Fixed Blade knife, constructed with a laminated wood handle, stainless steel guard and AUS-6 stainless steel blade. This is a smaller version of the knife featured in the movie “Rambo 3.”

Gil Hibben Fighter III knife featured in the American Knife and Tool Institute's monthly fundraising auction for January 2012.Creator Gil Hibben is well-known for a 50-year career that has included making knives for U.S. servicemen in Vietnam and for celebrities including Sylvester Stallone, John Wayne and Elvis Presley. He has made some of the most popular knives of the 20th century.

Sheath for a Hibben III Fighter knife, donated by United Cutlery to the American Knife and Tool Institute's monthly fundraising auction for January 2012.The Fighter III measures 13 inches overall, with an 8-inch blade. It has a list price of $130. The knife comes with a top grain leather sheath.

To bid, simply fill out the form below before 11:59 ET on January 31, 2012. The highest bid received will win the auction and will be notified after the auction closes. All proceeds go directly to AKTI’s legislative work to promote the responsible use of knives throughout the United States.
