Buck 300 Series "Special Factory Order" Family Portrait

One of these days, after I stop spending all my disposable income on pocket knives I should buy myself a good DSLR camera. Trying to get a decent photo of pocket knives seems to elude me using the little Canon "point & shoot" that I have. Inside or outside I never seem to be able to get the light right. Oh well, inferior photo or not here is my collection of the Camillus-made Buck Special Factory Order knives made for and sold exclusively by Smoky Mountain Knife Works. In this photo are all the SFO model numbers, with only a genuine Stag handled #333 California Toothpick, (version shown is Stagalon, a real stag version should join this group soon), and a Smooth Black Bone #334 Millennium Trapper missing. This little collection took me around three years to accumulate, and what a pleasant journey it was. The #333 CA Toothpick was the hardest to find, the one pictured is the only one I saw for sale during that entire time. I should mention that a #330 SFO is listed, but that was an in-house production order containing Buck-made #312 & #314 Trappers in Ironwood. This group shows only the Camillus-made SFO's.

In numerical order:

#322 Congress (1995, Yellow/Black Delrin)

#329 Freedom Trapper (1988; Smooth Yellow Delrin imprinted and plain versions shown)

#331 Grandaddy Barlow (1999 in Yellow/Black Delrin, Jigged Bone)

#332 Barlow (1999 in Yellow/Black Delrin)

#333 California Toothpick (not sure; Stagalon)

#334 Millennium Trapper (2000, Jigged Bone/Limited Edition/Serialized version shown)

To those of you who joined me on this journey I thank you for your encouragement, (or depending on how you look at it I could say, "thanks for enabling me!").

Why thank you JJ, I'm sure happy to have them, though there were times I thought it may not be possible. I think I will try to do one with ALL my other Buck 300 Series knives one of these days too.

Personally Syd, I think the pic looks great. Fantastic collection.

Thanks Jan. Now that I have this I sure would be interested to look through some old SMKW catalogs from the late 80's-90's; any idea where I might find back issues?
