GEC, Northfield Pioneer Trapper #23 : news

Hello,

today the weather's great around Paris (France). Sun is shining and temperature's very low but now snow. What a wonderful day to take some pictures of my new PIONEER coming from the USA.

as usual the knife came in this little paper cylinder sourrounded by paper wax.

I seriously cleaned it with some polish paste and oiled it with BALLISTOL OIL, that's great for the bone handles... it makes it shine like a diamond.

this super knife has 2 carbon (1095) blades. They are both very impressive and razor sharp after a few passes on leather

the alignment of the 2 blades is perfect and the overall quality of is very high

all metal pieces (nickel, brass) are miror polished (except blades)

What a great great knife. I do not regret my christmas gift !!!

take care guys and see you.

You're right Johnny, that knife is just an object that has no real meaning in life.....he should send it to me.

That knife is nothing but an object, your pics and your love for it give it life and show it's true beauty.

Awesome pics and post.

Keep it up with these great knives.
