Robert Beillonnet is a French Knifemaker, one of the most famous.

The folder you wil discover below is more thank a knife, it is a piece of art.

Everything has been done manually with minimum tools.

I ordered this knife in 2005 and received it in 2006.

- the bolsters are in MAILLECHORT (I hope this is the right name in english)

- the handles are from old elephant ivory

- the shield is in silver

- and the blade (signed RB for Robert Beillonnet) is inox damas steel

This little folder is a slip joint

that a a GREAT looking knife. Everything about it is right. Materials, form, everything. Gorgeous.

btw. I'm not sure what MAILLECHORT is. Maybe nickelsilver or something? Google Translate tells me it's Nickel.
